Tuition & Financial Aid

The Archdiocese of Washington (ADW) is committed to keeping Catholic schools as affordable as possible for families seeking an excellent Catholic education for their children, especially families with financial needs and those with multiple children in our schools.

Recognizing how economically challenging these times are, we encourage you to apply for financial aid (details below). More than $500,000 in grants were awarded last year to approximately 20% of Holy Trinity students. Students currently receive grants ranging from 5% to 95% of the full tuition. Admissions decisions are made separate from any financial aid requests or decisions.

Tuition Assistance and Financial Aid

Holy Trinity uses Clarity to manage our need-based financial aid for applicants in grades Kindergarten to 8th grade.

The Holy Trinity financial aid program is designed to make an HTS education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Holy Trinity is using the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application, which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit (contact the office if you need financial assistance with this fee). Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application to upload any additional tax documentation you may have. The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is December 1, 2023 for returning families, and February 16, 2024 for new families.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available as well as email support at support@claritytuition.com in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish. Also, please find answers on our FAQ list and here is the Family Application Guide.

Fees

Tuition and Fee Payment: Holy Trinity School uses a tuition management group, TADS, to assist in enrollment, registration and collection of its tuition and fees. TADS will send notification to families when tuition agreements are available and when registration/enrollment is open to optional programs. Parents agree to abide by the terms and conditions provided in each of the TADS agreements. Payment of all tuition and fees is due at time of agreement unless a monthly payment option is determined to be necessary. Monthly payments will begin no earlier than June for the next school year.

Instructional: All instructional fees are included in the tuition rate (textbooks, art, technology and yearbook). Additional fees may be charged for some field trips, school events and other activities.
