Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

Holy Trinity School, a Catholic elementary school in the Jesuit Tradition, seeks to hire a Kindergarten Assistant Teacher to join our faculty for the spring semester, starting January 2022. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic, high-energy educational team and will have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Some of the duties and responsibilities include: work with Kindergarten students all day (sense of humor is key), ability to collaborate and be flexible, ability to follow the direction of the lead Kindergarten teachers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, patience and ability to relate well to 5-year-olds (such a fun age). This is a great job for a newly graduated college student (December grads, we're looking at you) or a current undergrad able to work full time for the spring semester. 5th/6th Math Teacher

Holy Trinity School seeks to immediately hire a 5th and 6th Grade Math Teacher to join our faculty for the 2021-2022 school year. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic, high-energy educational team and will have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Some of the duties and responsibilities include: Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, minimum and 2 – 3 years teaching experience; Certified to teach in MD, DC, or VA or is willing to gain certification within three years; and demonstrates strong writing and communication skills, a capacity for organization and follow-through, collaboration, and flexibility. Substitute Teacher

Holy Trinity School is looking for energetic and motivated substitute teachers to work with students at all levels, from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. The best candidates for substitute teacher jobs have a bachelor’s degree and enjoy working with children. They are flexible and have some sort of education experience. Official experience and/or teaching certification are good, but we welcome those with informal experience too. For example, if you have worked as a tutor, child care provider or babysitter, you could be a great asset to our school.
