The school counseling program at Holy Trinity School is designed to focus on the academic and social-emotional development as well as high school readiness of all students in grades prekindergarten through 8. The program is based on the American School Counselor Association model for school counseling. Students have the opportunity to participate in classroom guidance lessons, small group guidance and individual guidance with the school counselors, Bridget Tansey and Mary Waters. Parents are encouraged to use our counselors as a resource for any questions about their children’s development. Ms. Tansey has a Master’s Degree of Education in School Counseling and is a Nationally Certified Counselor. She has worked with students of all ages, prekindergarten through graduate school, and is very excited to be working with Holy Trinity students and their families. Mary Waters is a counselor in the Upper School. Dr. Waters has extensive experience as a middle school counselor and has also trained many future school counselors at Northeast Oklahoma University. She is also a past president of the Oklahoma School Counselors’ Association.
